Well, everyone who knows me knows what a patriot of fashion I have been ever since I was 9. The thing that made me start sketching my own designs and label the different styles and materials was..brace yourselves...a Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie. Yes, you read that right! I know it seems quite silly, but that's what got me going! I don't recollect the title of the movie, I just remember Ashley-Olsen's character portrayed an aspiring fashion designer. A few scenes, as far as I remember, showed her sketching a few designs. The colours attracted my eyes like a moth to light. Ever since that day, I had started sketching my own designs in a small, used notebook, and before I knew it, I had drawn over 200 original designs(While moving from one house to another,the book got lost unfortunately). Ofcourse they weren't even close to perfect, but I think I was pretty good at what I did (Spare me the criticism! I was 9!). Then I just continued sketching clothes and putting outfits together, and I realized I would love to take that up as my career in the long-run.
This blog, I am sure, will help me move closer to my goal. I shall post my personal ideas of different styles, and share some of my own personal style which I hope you all like.
