Make a Statement

Hi, ladies!

So as we all know, the statement bib necklaces, and chunky necklaces are definitely taking over every woman's jewellery collection. It's one of my personal favourites as well!

This accessory gives you so much class and edginess to add to your look. It can't always be worn casually, but for a day out, or a night out, I think this necklace will give your entire outfit the edgy twist it requires!

Daytime:
You could pair it up with a simple tank top or camisole, with a pair of skinnies and maybe a pair of heels if you feel like it.

Night Out:

A pair of palazzo pants with a plain top, or a simple dress is definitely the way to go.

DON'T- Please bear in mind that if you're wearing a chunky statement necklace, keep your top plain and simple. Don't take the attention away from your neckpiece.

Let your necklace make a statement.

Lipstick Stains to Eyelashes: My Favourites

Hello, beauties!

Here are the products that I use on myself almost on a regular basis, and what I think of them. If you guys have any suggestions on better products that I could use, please let me know!

Maybelline Colossal Kajal:

I've been using this kohl on my eyes for as long as I can remember, and EVERY SINGLE DAY. According to me, it's quite a satisfactory product! No smudges, but it doesn't necessarily stay put for 12 hours as the packaging mentions, then again, I have watery eyes.

So I would rate this product a 9/10.


Maybelline Colossal Mascara (Volum' Express Waterproof):

I don't wear black mascara often because my eyelashes are already quite long and thick, but when I do use this product, I quite like it. It does clump sometimes while applying it, but if you work with it, the results would be to your liking. I think this mascara is perfect for anyone with scanty eyelashes. It gives you length, and definition.

I would rate this product a 9/10.


Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner:

This is probably my favourite form of eyeliner! It's convenient to put on your eyes if you have fairly steady hands, and the intensity gives your eyes the perfect look. This smudge proof and waterproof eyeliner does as the packaging says. Also, the packaging looks very sleek and classy, so that's another plus point!

Definitely a 10/10 according to me!


Maybelline Clear Glow Shine-Free Clear Stick (04 Fawn):

This stick concealer is perfect for my everyday use. It's light, and easy to apply. I don't use concealer all over my face, just around my eyes. So for that kind of minimal usage, I think this works just fine.

This product gets a 9/10.


Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm:

(I must seem like quite the Maybelline Junkie. I assure you, I had no idea how many of their products I use!)

I cannot leave the house without my 'Cherry Kiss' Baby Lips. They are super moisturizing, and long lasting! The slight tint of colour they have is also quite appealing.

My Baby Lips get a 10/10.


Lakmé 9to5 Lipstick (MP4 Pink Bureau):

The lipstick might be long lasting, but it definitely isn't as moisturizing as you would want it to be. For me, applying lip balm before this lipstick is a must to provide me with moisture. The colour however is something I love! It's a neutral colour with a tinge of pink to it, and can be worn everyday!

9to5 gets a 7.


Colorbar USA Frisky Pink:

This lipstick, unlike the 9to5 provides enough moisture for your lips. I love the colour as well, and it is fairly long lasting! This shade is a little brighter than the previous lipstick, but it is still an everyday colour.

This one gets an 8/10.


Body Shop Fragrance Mist (Japanses Cherry Blossom):

This is probably the yummiest body mist that I've bought! I'm just in love with it..and I need to buy more. This small bottle lasted me for quite a long time inspite of regular use, so it's a good buy.

This yummy mist deserves a 10/10.


Lakmé Absolute Shine Line:

If you're looking for a good liquid eyeliner, I'd suggest this one. It's fairly long lasting and intense. This was my everyday eyeliner before I came across the gel eyeliner, but I do use this once in a while.

Shine Line gets an 8/10.
